The Micro Business Alliance brings together organisations that represent and support Britain’s micro businesses. Membership is a reviewed organisational relationship: a way to bring the experience of your community into shared evidence, priorities and representation.

Alliance membership is for membership organisations that represent or support micro businesses. It is not an individual business subscription.
Your organisation brings its understanding of the businesses it engages with. The Alliance’s purpose is to connect those perspectives, build collective understanding and carry micro-business issues into relevant policy conversations.

Member organisations contribute the perspectives of their communities, collaborate around common concerns and support evidence gathering. This is the basis of the Alliance’s research and representation proposition, rather than a promise of a particular consultation or campaign.
Follow published Alliance activity and research to see the issues being explored. Specific opportunities depend on the Alliance’s work; membership does not promise a fixed programme of events.

That is the Alliance’s stated purpose. Its published perspective celebrates values-based micro businesses that respect people and planet, across different growth ambitions, with community, opportunity and sustainability at the heart of its case.

Provide organisation and contact details, describe how you engage with micro businesses and confirm the shared Purpose, Mission and Values commitment. Create your sign-in account and confirm your email.

Application review
The Alliance reviews your request before approving membership. Applying or confirming your email does not mean your organisation has been approved.

Your Alliance organisation area
After approval, sign in with your confirmed application email. The organisation area displays your membership status and permanent membership number, with a link to Alliance activity.
Two audiences.
Two separate propositions.
Alliance membership is for membership organisations. Protect & Connect is a subscription for individual micro businesses, with its own workplace tools, compliance support and opt-in Subscriber Directory. One does not automatically include the other.
